After photographing the Ardh Kumbh Mela in Allahabad in 2007, I just had to be at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Haridwar in February 2010. The Maha Kumbh Mela which only ever happens every 12 years and is attended by around 60 million people. Held in Haridwar, Northern India it is the largest gathering anywhere in the world.

The new addition to the family has (finally) arrived.
Jasmine Evie was born on Saturday at 6pm, a mere 10 days late, weighing in at 7lbs 13oz.

The photo above was taken within a couple of minutes of her birth.

Terrible timing as I not only missed a QPR home match, but one of the best performances (4-0 win) in years apparently. Still, pretty good day all round.
